Facilities / Maintenance Technician

Facilities / Maintenance Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the activities associated with the general maintenance. This will include and is not limited to the appearance and repairs of the facility, sanitation, office space, security, powers industrial equipment, outside grounds and janitorial.
• Responsible for creating a preventative maintenance schedule ensuring the safety of the staff and visitors who are engaged in the building, grounds, sanitation, security or who are handling power industrial equipment.
• Ensuring all work areas are always clean.
• Maintain accurate records of projects / work orders and completion dates.
• Fully understand PMW’s ( preferred work methods).
• Follow a culture of safety that ensures that every NutraSelf associate remains injury free.
• Comply and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Partner with departments to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Comply with local state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits ensuring all required inspections and documentations are completely accurate and retained. (OSHA, EPA, and USDA)

Facilities /Maintenance Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze technical procedures and government regulations.
• Fully understand PMW’s ( preferred work methods).
• Industrial electrical experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, TEAMS & Outlook).
• Ability to write correspondence and reports.
• Ability to learn new tasks and adapt to changing organizational needs.
• Strong communications skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience with maintenance in a dietary supplement or equivalent warehouse.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
